Sources of Tension: Part II

What sources of tension, new or old, Int eh Middle East are revealed by the film?

People have been trying to escape Bahrain’s dictator and the laws rules. They have The Arabs spring started protesting for equality and were shot at by the security. Many people were killed in the act. If the US likes the dictator then the US doesn’t want to get involved. But if they don’t like the dictator then they want to help out and spread democracy. This is creating anger in the Middle East which is a big source of tension.
People in the protest were treated very poorly after taking place in the protest. The US is trying to announce and make clear of their policies. Bahrain is a very important country because of oil. The land has a lot of ships from Saudi Arabia and Qatar go to the ports carrying a lot of oil. This is also another source of tension.
Saudi Arabian troops helped get rid of the protesting. Sunni are against the shiite in this situation. Destruction took place and there was clear evidence of this destruction this was destruction Shiite Mosques. The government had carried out this plan possibly causing a civil war. The US are protecting Bahrain and people are still disappearing. And relatives of the people missing can’t say anything about it or they are to gone as well. Also a source of tension.
Saudi Arabia started protesting and the US will not do anything about it because they are allies with Saudi Arabia.

  1. Not too short or too long!

It's good Dexter, though I would have liked to see more about the oil issue though as it is one of the main issues with the US not coming into the picture...

    Anyway, good Job!
